Alumina

Alumina Hydrates

Catalum are high-purity, highly dispersible, low nano-sized boehmite alumina hydrates powders.

alumina1

These boehmites exhibit a unique combination of purity, consistency and dispersibility that make them excellent materials for use in colloidal applications. The range of dispersible boehmites has traditionally been used in applications such as sol-gel ceramics, catalysis, refractory materials, rheology control and surface frictionizing. Other applications include surface coating as well as paint detackification, polymeradditives and functional fillers.

alumina2

Its low sodium/iron/silica ultra-high-purity grades are used as wash coats of emission control catalysts, raw material to produce activated alumina catalyst carriers, and binders for  molecular sieves cracking catalysts.
